Happy Valentine's Day Everyone!
First of all, I want to thank you all for subscribing to receive my newsletter and for your continued support as we move closer to the publication date for NEVER AS GOOD AS THE FIRST TIME. April 15th is fast approaching and will be here before any of us realizes it!
Whew! This past month has been a whirlwind of activity. Where do I begin? Okay,Great news! NEVER AS GOOD AS THE FIRST TIME has been picked up by BLACK EXPRESSIONS BOOK CLUB! For those who don't know who they are, if you've ever seen those banners scrolling across the top of a page you are visiting on the net, or if you've gotten a flyer in your Sunday Paper or as an insert in a magazine, advertising African American books-- buy 3 get 2 free, more likely than not it's an ad from Black Expressions. So I want to take the time to say "THANK YOU" to everyone involved in picking me up and to all who worked so hard to make it happen!
I haven't had an opportunity to update the EVENTS page in a while, but stay tuned for an updated list of the cities that I will be visiting to either attend conventions or to hold book-signings. I'm asking you to all to please remember my very first book-signing on April 19th at Kana Books and CD's on Hamilton Road from 12- 3pm(or until if things are going well) Come out and bring your friends!
Lastly, I want to thank my new assitant TONYA WALKER for the AWESOME job you are doing setting up book-signings and taking care of a million other little things(who knew there would be so many!)so that I don't have to and freeing me up to finish BOOK 2 and to complete requests from my editor. Thank you, Tonya and keep up the good work!
